My Dad Was Abused as a Child and I Don't Know What to Do About It
My mother was physically abused as a child so not being beat up is her version of good relationship. My dad would call my mom a crack whore and say she's spending all this money on crack. He never went to any of our school events or games even. Trauma is supposed to make a person stronger, better, more empathetic but I haven't found meaning to my suffering.
