And this episode we're talking about the fearsome australian cryptid known as the drop bear. I'm dom bethanelli, and joining me to day is jimmy akiny jimmy, how do dot? Our world is filled thmysterious animals, only some of which have been discovered by science. Animals that have been reported but not scientifically confirmed are called cryptids, the most famous of which are big foot and the lochnes monster. But there are reports of strange creatures from all over the globe. For example, the dangerous, venomous land of australia is home to many strange animals, and it has many reports of cryptids, one of which is the fearsome drop bear. While many cryptids may be timid creatures that largely avoid human contact, the drop bear is different. It's reportedly a vicious, carnivorous animal that can harm human beings at a moment's notice. Yet it's strangely related to the peaceful kowalla. So what is the drop air? What do we know about it? And how can we protect ourselves against its vicious attacks? That's what we'll be talking about on this episode of jimmy akins mysterious world.

My name is lindsey sant, and let me tell you what i think about the drop bear. In australia, you may know that we're famous for all kinds of deadly creatures like the blue ringed octopus, the box jellyfish, the funne web spider, the brown snake. We even have a cone shell, which is a shell that you'd find on the beach, which is actually a creature that can shoot out a small harpoon, which is strong enough to penetrate a wet suit and actually poison a person to death. Well, like most australians, i'd rather encounter one of these creatures than find myself face to face with a drop beer. Ah,
