Most true scriptures were written by enlightened people. 99.999999 to the end decimal point percent of people in any religion are just taught by parrots regurgitating what somebody else told them to do and believing it. If you talk to someone that's really enlightened and share what your challenges are you'll often find that these are not legitimate challenges their misunderstandings of scripture. They're the results of being programmed at an early age by people that did not have the depth of wisdom or understanding to really even understand what the words they're using to guide their beliefs and behaviors are.
