How to Write a Short Story Query Letter
I think the bio is probably the most overthought of and least important part of the thing, of the query itself. It can only help basically unless you overdo it. But having a slim bio isn't gonna really sell your short story. You need your work to be able to stand on its own and your editor will like it because it's good,. Not because somebody else liked it first.
