Is it possible to discern those kinds of intangibles in an interview process? I have not hired people because of how they handle a hostess at a restaurant or the waitress at the table. If they don't say thank you and they're not gracious and kind, they're not going to be aligned to the values of what we're trying to create. The higher up you go, the more personal you need to be,. the more authentic, the more you need to connect.
