Is There a Difference Between Practice and Theology?

There tends to be this notion that Paul is a bunch of disembodied ideas and nothing could be further from the truth. When Paul talks about what we call doctrine, he's making claims about what God is doing with real people. This notion of practice and theology, of ethics and theology is two different things. It just doesn't work with Paul. We're tagging statements rather than looking at an argument and why it's being made for a particular group of people.
