Is the University of Chicago More of a Venue for Free Expression?
Do you think the Chicago University offers more of a venue for free speech than other universities? I see really thoughtful, hard, deep discussion going on. Some of it comes because we have students who come from such completely different experiences. We had an example this fall where people from outside the university were trying to prevent a speaker from being able to speak.
