Skyrim vs Elden Ring

Elden Ring does have an incredible feeling of possibility but it for me is within a more limited sphere that's not a bad thing. I do think that a game like Skyrim offers a wider horizon of possibilities because it could be you find a town and then you wind up playing them against one another. There are no friendly talents in Elden Ring so they're able to do a lot more to go a lot deeper with the systems that they've got.
