eBPF is coming from the kernel development background. We have been looking at applications that we don't really care what the applications are doing. A lot of what is kind of very similar to what service meshes started to do, but they have been coming down from the application level. And now we have these two kind of layers converging together. It's a perfect example, because when we started looking at what, what of the service mesh functionality could we do natively in eBPF? We immediately came to the conclusion or all we have to solve is HTTP two parsing.
