The Relationship Between Science and Power
I want to imagine that at some point the nature of science changes such that it becomes no longer captured by the narcissistic ravings of idiots who currently wield power. I don't think human extinction for instance is inevitable but I also don't think there's going to be anything remotely resembling eight billion people on this planet and you know a matter of like a generation or two's time. Anything that we do has to be kind of durable across a very wide range of conceivable future outcomes right so what do you say we ground what I've been saying?
