Is There a Difference Between the AI and the Alien?

The key difference is that the alien is alive they possess life. Whereas the artificial intelligence will it's a mere machine it is not a living thing. And then presumably the background idea here is something like life is a precondition for insolments only living things are eligible for possessing souls. So if you have that kind of view I think it's, it's certainly questionable whether an AI would be alive. It may exhibit many of the features and functions characteristic of life so it may in a kind of making coffees of its own code or engage in metabolic process using energy.
