Markism is not simple to understand. The people who are invested in the status quo have no real interest in understanding marxism. Historical materialism and dialectical materialism undermine the bourgeois order directly. And our society allows much more room for people to be sloppy critics of marxists than they allow them to articulate their wold view. But if you're an opponent of marxism, you can be the laziest, shiddiest thinker, and you will be propped up as a brilliant intellectual because of the sort of ideological fall out from any sort of critique of marxist ideas.
