The Joy of the Lord Is Your Strength

The seven days of this festival, the law was being read, the people were worshiping. And it was a joy that flowed out of a repentance that led to obedience. The joy of the Lord became their strength. This is the joy of the Christian life. It's not the freedom from the difficulties of existence. We need to embrace the impossibility of life and the absurdity of it without Jesus.
