We still use the term industrial policy in a very specific sense, w us throwing money at factories where people deal with noise and heat. There's an acin of romanticism, astalga, i think, behind it which is, once upon a time, from he in the 19 thirties, grandpa or dad worked in a factory,. And then unions restricted entry and shared the rents with workers. That's what we think of whan we think of industrial policy, often, mines, autos, steel. But there doesn't seem to be a whole although, i mean, state and local governments are throwing money at amazon right to locate. They're complaining about government spending
