Polygraphs Aren't Accurate
"It just seems like a really stupid thing to do because people always get caught with these things," she says. "I've given evidence in hundreds of criminal trials and I never once seen a lie detector being used as a miserable evidence" She adds that polygraphs only detect when somebody is flustered or has an emotional reaction, but if you're being questioned for the murder of your wife then arguably you're feeling agitated anyway.
