I'm making the point that there's evolution with these parties, right? So at the time act while George W. Bush and Dick Cheney were instituting torture They were pushing us into disastrous wars It was actually the Democrats who were saying things like which Obama was saying Was part of the reason why he got elected him though he didn't follow through on any of that. Whether it was a lie or whether Obama got rolled by powerful interests I don't know for sure but quite either way he didn't govern that way. The parties kind of flipped on this issue of war and now the Democrats are much more of the war Party than they were back in the wake of September 11th.
