"It was like a temple, you know, going to college. I took a lot of great courses and I was really into it," he says. "I remember sometimes in the morning, I would go to his cell just like to get ready for breakfast before they would call us for breakfast" He adds that an older guy in the band who had been down for a long time, some violent crimes, didn't like him because he thought he was 'pampered'
