I Did Eat More Fruits and Vegetables During Breakfast

A study cited in the journal on nutrition, education and behavior found that children who ate breakfasts with their families at least four times a week were more likely to consume ample amounts of fruits and vegetables. Children whose t v was never or rarely on during family meals were significantly less likely to consume soda and chips. "Even if we don't have access to a lot of money or access to the best food options, creating and sustaining a new family ritual of eating together as a family more often can dramatically improve health outcomes," she says.
