The Conflict of Choices

Do you let the kids have a say in some of this stuff? I mean, not necessarily budget. Like we have that might be a bad idea. My daughter's 10. Joe is still behind us because he has a nine-year-old and as high oldest as four. We don't want to screw up our kids but I think all of us are worried about them.
