The Importance of Clarity in Overtures

Pastor: "What you're seeing in these overtures is not an attempt to twist a knife, but to do what we've been told into strive for clarity" A lot of the arguments against all of these overtures over the last three years have blurred that distinction and not made it. It seems immediately there's a conflation of we're not talking about people in the congregation,. We're talking about officers of Christ Church; any talk of above and beyond reproach is not considered.
