The advance plant habitat grew the first crop of radishes last year. Astronauts get a bit stuffy headed, and they say their sense of taste is a bit dulled. A chilly pepper or even a radish whinyo might not like on earth very much. Probably that sort of burst of flavour you get is a real sort of pick me up for someone who's been stuck in a tin can for six months.
