The Paradox of the Biden Administration's 24% Tax Credit

The Biden administration has built certain carats into the provisions of the IRA in order to ensure a better labor rights or better pay, and these carats are quite significant. The what is happening is you get 24% tax credits, if you include certain better conditions for workers within your whatever new factory or new EV plant. It doesn't use the price signal, it just says, this is what you need to do in order for you to stay in business. And I as a state have the right to mandate that but this is not what is happening.
