The Importance of Public Service
You followed in similar tracks as your dad, right? An investment banker, you went into business for yourself and then ended up as a public servant. Was that by design because you admire his journey or was that more random? Oh gosh, I did admire his journey for sure. My dad also really believed in public service. He didn't think it made any difference whether you're a Republican or Democrat,. All of us had a responsibility to do our best to make this world a better place.
