The Importance of Emotional Costs in Cars
Cars are a place where people make careless decisions with really irrational expectations and I just feel the consequences are big. The consequence of spending an extra $10,000 on a car is significant it doesn't sound like it when they divide it down into your monthly payment or whatever. It can be a higher insurance cost for a more expensive car what I thought was interesting in the paper is that there's like an emotional cost to having high end vehicles. You're probably way more stressed driving a designer vehicle.
