Wife Beaters, That's an Interesting One to Be Aware Of
I remember growing up, and always calling them wife beaters. But for some reason, i guess, they got associated with people who beat their wives. There is nothing to suggest that working class people who wear blue singlets are more likely to beat their spouses than anybody else's exactly. It was just one of these funny linguistic things where later on, when i was trying to teach that and being like, o her, we calle this. Whye com you li lan this? No. Well, then you're like, o crap.
