Final Fantasy: A Dark Time
The side quest design or lack thereof sounded so it betrays what it is so badly right. It just does feel like a throwback to there was this era where I think like the success of MMOs was starting to create like a lot of attempts to sort of mimic that sort of game design in other RPG spaces. There were a lot of games that were like you were playing them by yourself or sometimes you were playing they like a tabletop with other people but somehow it was still designed to feel like I'm on an XP grind and it's really surprising that final fantasy is 16 of all things at this moment this place in time ends up being this kind of vibe.
