In the seventh mantra, mata parataram, nanat kinci, dastidanangaa mani sarvam idam, pro sutre marnigarna iva, higher than myself, there is nothing else. All this is strung like gems in a stream. Here he says, i am the first cause. I am the material cause. And indeed, i am beyond all cause and effect. What does it mean? Remember, this chapter is about god, the real nature of god. So we are going to see the three different deeper and deeper understanding of god.
