The Importance of Translation in Translation

i've taught great expectations for six years and i think i'm finally at the point where i can say i don't like it. we have a couple let me pull up the emails we received so one of them was concerning bill wolf  it wasn't necessarily stuff we got wrong it was just commentary on translation right there's kind of a sliding scale and translation between word for word and thought for thought yeah that was from a guy named skylar in new mexico. even if you were to go to original text bring it into english you would still want to read someone else's translation as long as they are not your own. So nothing changes whether you are reading or writing an
