The first thing, the thing that's most clearly in our control, is how we think about and approach our jobs. Don't pass your estimates. Don't say to your boss, t whose same feature, feature feature, well, we could deliver it next week if we didn't do any testing or did a good job of design. That's one of those things that we take responsibility for. If we're in our own work, it's our responsibility to do what a good job is.
