The Importance of Trust in God
God is talking to Israel right now because they're being rebellious as a nation. Instead of looking to God for deliverance, they go to Egypt and the very next verse says, instead you go to Egypt. The true God is saying in quietness and trust is your strength in rest you will be delivered. In other words, you don't need to do it yourself. I will do it for you, but you were not willing.
