The Importance of Financial Security in Relationships
Finances are one of the biggest issues in a relationship. Setting some sort of ideal goals that you can both work towards is helpful if you're both ambitious. I probably personally would not be getting married until I had had this conversation and knew we were working towards the same future. And then I wasn't embarrassed by my partner. The embarrassment is a really big thing. That to me is such a huge factor. It's a huge statement. Saying that you want to be married to someone who you're proud of, not someone who embarrasses you was so damning in and of itself.
