progressive and conservative christians are driven by this compulsion, we've got to change the world. I find great comfort in just admitting it's not my job to save the world,. It's not the job of the church tosave the world. We need much more humble aspirations. Our task is to be the world being saved by i justJust to be that, that alternative, that other. The ring of power is endlessly seductive, and almost no one can bear it. And so i'm really wanting to advocate for a profound ambiance towards the machinations of governes in the land in which we happen to live. Let's take care of those that walkbly with god. But
