People who have been infected by cobid in the past are protected from delta variant, perhaps better than the fiser vac sine. In other words, the virus itself really does provide a fairly a robust and long lasting immunity. We also do know those patients, when they are given a booster shot, have even higher levels of protection. But certainly this is reassuring to those who had cove 19, and certainly is still a message to people who are unprotected that if unless you 're going to get cove 19 it probably would be smart to get at vaccine.
Dr. Ian Lustbader, Clinical Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone, explains why people who recovered from Covid appear to have a lower risk of contracting the delta variant than those who got the Pfizer shot. Matt Baker, Chief Strategy Officer at Dell, discusses earnings results and the "do-anything-from-anywhere" economy. Retired U.S. Army Major Dr. Sonja Stribling shares what she thinks it will take to get troops and civilians out of Afghanistan. And we Drive to the Close with Mark Travis, President and CEO at Intrepid Capital.
