Psychotherapy - What Is Counter Transference?

The clinitian's counter transference in the interview is also an important potential source of information. The patient may react to the interviewer as if she were treating him like one of his parents did. Signs of counter transference include uncustomary ways in which the clinition treats the patient, and the clination experiencing impulses to treat the patient in a manner not characteristic of her.
