Is There a Right to Conscience in the State Constitution?
The states have amended their state constitutions to try to redress extreme partisan jurymanding commandering. And there actually already are some state court decisions that have addressed some of these issues. The other thing people don't appreciate is the state guarantees w often have different words, more expansive language. Ar ilets stick on the federalism. I call this the vertical axis. Tcause federal government sort of on top, states below may be voters,. a sort of the third layer of that tasty cake.
