The Importance of Having Tools That Make Me Productive

I have been methodically replacing every conventional appliance with essentially something I could cook with if I were like a sophomore in college. It is a rule against cooking in the dorm room and so I have to have like things I can cook with that I can hide if the RA is coming down the hall because I've got sous vide, instant pot or countertop oven. So yeah maybe there is something to this now to be truth will say it's not about like regressing but just buying the tools that make you productive.
