Bobby McElvain was killed at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. He left behind many journals and diaries revealing a thoughtful inner world. There were disagreements about who should get possession of one diary in particular. Jennifer Senior's new book On Grief talks about his mother's quest for that last diary.
