For me, as a mere mortal here in the 20 first century, first world, there is an experiential gap right between my experience of christ and my e ence of jesus. My experience of jesuss is limited almost entirely to stories that i read in translation that are thousands of years old. Ah, but christ? Ah, that's a name more strongly associated for me with with something that i'm experiencing, not reading about.
