The Labour Party Is Calming Down a Bit
Do you get the sense that effectively things in the Labour Party are calming down a bit? I do, genuinely. And I think one of my NAC colleagues, Margaret Beckett, has a well-worn phrase: The closer the party is to power the shorter the NAC series. Even though this week's NAC was true, just being a big bruja, actually, we were finished at quarter to five. Okay, so that's not bad. And I've been there for the nine and a half army saying, so I'm rocking up this week, says an achievement.
