When the capacity of reason to know the truth of being is denied, the inability to gain access to god's truth is being implied. And if you destroy god's truth, why would you ever go to a sacrament? If that breaks, then we've just anthropocentrized the sacraments. We play games mentally, categorically, but it doesn't actually correspond nature. Just helps us deal with nature.
