Lewis and the Atonement

Shane Pro: I am most drawn to Lewis' presentation of the atonement in miracles. The ransom theory is the one that you have to be the most careful with because it'll, you have to avoid suggesting that God owed Satan something, right? That's what you really have to be careful with. ButLewis gravitates as far as I can tell, to something like the recapitulation or re-headshipping theory of the atoning. He would say it's a double union where Christ is of our same nature as a human and we're united to him by faith for salvation so that he can actually be our new Adam.
