The Role of Adam in Creation Continues

In Christ and the Old Testament was picked up in believing the promise, believing the promise that goes all the way back to Genesis 3 15. The creation order even in this fallen world continues. So there's a sense in which Christ, obviously when he comes again as last Adam, he puts all things under his feet. He makes a new heavens and a new earth. But with that said, scripture says that the old covenant, Israel's covenant, was temporary. It was for the purpose of leading us to Christ and the new covenant. We're no longer under the Mosaic covenant, but it is still instructive for us.
