Claudio Naranjo developed the Enneagram from a combination of his knowledge. He used LSD and ayahuasca, which is used by South American shamans to contact the spirit world. So it's very much a system of mystical esoteric transformation. And so once you recognize your fixation, then you can work your way up through his occult system in order to attain the holy idea.
