Is Lobbying Really Important?

You often hear, like, lobbying is a bit of a dirty word, isn't it? I'm sure you're sort of familiar with that. There's this sort of idea of these sort of shadowy rooms in the back offices where, like, oil companies find ways to get politicians to do their bidding. Is that something that you come up against much in your role as a lobbyist? In some ways, I've been quite lucky because I do quite nice stuff, I suppose. But using lobbyists and using people who actually sent us the information was very much key to that.
