Jean-Luca Dard's King Lear

I don't think I've said the words Jean-Luca Dard's since he passed. Dennis Lim spoke quite beautifully about Godard's impact, his meaning to the New York Film Festival and to film culture at large. There was a moment where Woody Allen appears on screen near the end of the movie and people in the audience just started applauding. It was a real subversive Woody is my man New York audience,. which I thought was really interesting and notable.
