The Falls Festival has been canned for the third time in four years. Organisers have taken to social media announcing that the annual event in Melbourne, Byron Bay and Fremont,. all this New Year's Eve has been cancelled to rest and recover. Nepali Sherpa has scaled Mount Everest for a record 27th time, beating his own record. The 53 year old climbed the 8,849 metre mountain early yesterday morning along the traditional southeast ridge route, guiding a foreign climber.
