Milosevitch and the Unrest in Kolsevo in 1987
Slobidon milosevitch followed Ivan stambolich when he left the private sector to go into politics. Milosovitch's supporters held a campaign of street protests called the anti bureaucratic revolution. These protests led to the downfall of the vovodina, cosovo and montenegro governments. As serb nationalists took over more parts of the government,. Yugoslava's other ethnic groups embraced nationalism as well. Intentions continued to escalate. In march 19 89, kosevo's legislative assembly voted to abandon their autonomous status and give more power to be just like that, cosevo went from an autonomous province to a serbian colony.
