Well, if you look at socio economic development around the world, the countries that typically have that choose to have less children are the ones that are most advanced nations. So a lot of people who are worried that eight billion people on the on the earth is just too much are hoping that we can even out the developed world to include everyone so that the whole world will choose to have slightly less children.
