The Case of Charlie and Alana Jones

Charlie and Alana Jones' cell phones were found to have pinged a tower in the nearby town of Woodruff, South Carolina. This was significant as Anderson County investigators had recently received a tip-off that Alana Jones was buried on a 100-acre property in Woodruff. The 95-acre property was the only one in the area that fit the bill. Investigators flew a helicopter overhead to get a better look, but saw no sign of the couple or Charlie's white Pontiacogram Prey.
