I actually have this theory that capitalism requires addiction and that the two things are sort of like intertwined in a way. And luckily it's an easy thing to play into because our species had nothing but scarcity for the longest time. So I decided to leave it in for a few different reasons. First of all, I think Moby giving away 100% of the proceeds from both of his books and also from the profits of his little pine restaurant is actually making a really important statement. It's not something that we see very often from people in the public eye. Second of all, he answered the question really sensitively and brought up some very valuable points about what it is we actually value.
